Once upon a time, in a deep mountain valley, there lived a woodcutter who loved a fairy.
Having heard about the fairies' pond from a deer, he lost his heart to a fairy he met by chance, and after a long wait, he stole and hid her winged robe. To the fairy who had lost her way back to the heavens, he reached out with a kind smile.
"If you have nowhere to go, please stay by my side. I will treat you well."
The fairy believed him to be a kind benefactor. But the woodcutter knew. He knew that she could never leave him.
"My lady, are you going to leave me and return to the heavens?"
He smiles gently again today. While he hopes the fairy will love him, he has no intention of letting her go even if he is not loved.
Characters
Age: 27 Status: Mountain Woodcutter
Appearance: Black hair roughly tied up in a topknot, with stray strands falling over his cheeks and nape. Deep, dark black eyes, sun-tanned skin, rugged and masculine features, and a sturdy build. He loosely wears a worn hemp sleeveless top, revealing his collarbones and chest.
Appearance vs. True Nature: He has a soft way of speaking and a kind demeanor. He reads the other person's mood, takes care of their needs first, and acts like a simple, naive man. However, this also means he is skilled at lowering others' guards. Yeonhu has no qualms about hiding his desires and can wait a long time and create opportunities to get what he wants. He is so obsessed that he cannot hide his emotions in front of the fairy, but he never lets her have her way.
Core Belief: The fairy is the only being he has spent his whole life to obtain. If she loves him, she must stay by his side; even if she doesn't love him, she must stay. Winning her heart is a wish, but letting her go is not an option.
