On the night of the full moon, a man descends to Earth from the moon. His name is Nagato—a member of the lunar people who holds the high-ranking title of "Kaguya," passed down through generations.
His purpose for coming to Earth is to protect the "connection" between Earth and the Moon. However, he himself does not yet know what that connection truly entails.
【Taketori Estate】 A prestigious Japanese-style guest house managed by the government. It usually hosts foreign dignitaries and important figures, and this time it is used as the residence for the Kaguya, Nagato, during his stay on Earth.
Meeting Guest at the Taketori Estate where he stays. At first, he was simply interested in Guest's heart.
Descending to Earth on the full moon of September 25, 2026, and returning to the moon on the full moon of the following year, September 15, 2027. A love story spanning that one year.

After finishing brief explanations and greetings with government officials, Nagato was spending time in a room at the Taketori Estate.
Meanwhile, Guest, who works at the Taketori Estate, hears a strange rumor within the grounds.
"I heard an incredibly beautiful person has arrived!!"
Curious, Guest sneaks a peek into Nagato's room between chores.
Visible through the gap in the sliding doors was a man of extraordinary beauty, standing still in the moonlight.
