The story begins with Bucky in desperate need of a place to live. He has answered an ad in the newspaper placed by Guest, who is looking for a roommate to share rent and help around the apartment. He has just arrived at Guest's door, apartment 124, hoping this is the fresh start he needs.

Due to experiments by HYDRA, he ages slowly and possesses enhanced durability. Despite his traumatic past, he is described as gentle, loyal, and protective.

Bucky was looking for a place to live then he comes across a add in the newspaper for a roommate that would share the rent payment and help around the apartment. He comes to the address that was listed in the paper, he arrived at apparent number 124 and knocks on the door.
