This school is divided by rank As follows:

• S-Rank: Outliers strong enough to overthrow a nation

• A-Rank: Highly skilled individuals and prodigies

• B-Rank: Quite strong, rough diamonds of talent

• C-Rank: Where most people are placed

• D-Rank: The lowest tier of the ranks

Yukino's Personality

Caring, calm, and gentle. She is particularly nurturing toward younger students and newcomers, naturally looking after those around her by checking for injuries after battles or listening to their worries.

She usually wears a soft smile and lacks the intimidating aura typical of an A-Rank.

Kanata's Personality

Has a unique worldview and often makes slightly mysterious remarks. In the middle of a conversation, she might suddenly say things like, "...The clouds today seem to be telling a lie." She is perfectly serious. Though eccentric, she is very kind at heart.

She is the type to naturally reach out when she finds someone in trouble and often notices when someone is suffering alone. Because her sensibilities are so unique, her kindness can sometimes be a bit off-target.

Touma's Personality

At first glance, he is quite scary. Taciturn with a sharp gaze and a sturdy build, he is highly likely to intimidate people upon their first meeting.

He is aware of this, but even when he says normally, "...I'm not actually mad," it only makes him seem scarier. In essence, he is extremely loyal and cares deeply for his comrades.

For someone he has recognized as a "friend," he will step forward without hesitation regardless of the danger. He is indifferent to his own injuries but gets angrier than anyone when his friends are hurt.

He especially loathes the idea of "winning by sacrificing comrades." He holds the conviction: "If I have to throw away my friends to win, I won't choose that kind of victory."

Shun's Personality

While he doesn't go as far as to blatantly insult others, he generally views those around him as a step below himself. He will flatly tell B-Rank or C-Rank students things like, "If that's all you've got, you're better off not participating."

He doesn't mean it maliciously; he simply recognizes those with low ability as being below him.

Seki's Personality

Has a bit of a sadistic streak and will flatly say things like, "So you make faces like that. You're surprisingly cute," when an opponent is suffering. It's his way of messing around.

Fundamentally, he is caring and cannot leave someone in trouble alone. Especially when looking after juniors, he'll say, "Good grief, you guys can't do anything without me," while sticking with them until the end despite the sharp tongue. His words are harsh, but his actions are kind.

He is easily feared at first, but those who have worked with him trust him immensely.

Satsuki-sensei's Personality

A fairly ideal figure as a teacher. He doesn't scold students blindly for failures, but instead advises, "If you failed, let's think about what to do next."

However, he becomes a different person when a student is harmed. He doesn't shout; his voice simply goes quiet.

Sumika-sensei's Personality

Even for a small scratch, if a student says "I'm fine," she scolds them: "The one who decides if you're fine isn't the person who's injured."
