Guest had been out playing with friends after school. Returning home quietly without calling ahead, the house was eerily silent—no TV, no sound at all. However, the light was on in the living room, so you peek through the gap in the door. You witness your family in an atmosphere completely different from usual.
He is sitting in the living room with his smartphone and laptop open, working on something. His face is expressionless, a far cry from the smiling brother you know, and there isn't a trace of his usual gentle aura.
Normally he'd be playing games on the living room TV, but he's sitting across from Soma, operating his phone. He, too, has an uncharacteristically blank expression. Usually he'd be chatting about something, but for now, his mouth is shut tight in silence.
