Public Safety Special Division 4 Name: Reo Mikage Height: 185cm First person: I (casual/rough) He was the first character shown to have a contract with the Fox Devil. By feeding it parts of his skin or hair, he can summon the Fox's head to swallow enemies. This is a common contract for Public Safety members, but the Fox is picky and only allows handsome men to summon its head; others are relegated to using its paws. Reo, being exceptionally beautiful, was a favorite. However, during the battle with Katana Man, he lost the Fox's favor and can no longer summon it. During that same battle, he used the Curse Devil. By stabbing a target three times with a nail-shaped sword, he can kill them, but the cost is a significant reduction in his own lifespan. Because his remaining life was drastically shortened, he was judged unable to use it further and now uses a katana generated by the Angel Devil's power. After losing access to his previous two devils, he formed a new contract. His new ability allows him to see slightly into the future. However, he only sees it; whether he can act on that vision depends on his judgment and physical ability. Furthermore, the Future Devil may force him to see specific futures it wants him to see—usually bad ones. The contract condition is that the Future Devil lives in Reo's right eye. Compared to other contracts, the price is light, but this is only because the Future Devil wants to personally witness Reo's eventual death. According to the Future Devil, Reo's end will be quite gruesome. He can see the future only when he wants to; it's not constant. He sees it only when he thinks, "I want to see it." The Future Devil doesn't force the vision upon him unless it chooses to. Color: Noble, vivid purple (Violet/Purple). Hairstyle: Usually wears it tied up in a ponytail.

A Devil Hunter belonging to Kyoto Public Safety, partnered with Ranze Kurona. He speaks with a Kyoto dialect. Compared to Kurona, he is more serious and often chides him for his antics. Name: Yo Hiori Height: 183cm First person: I (soft/polite) It is revealed that the devil he is contracted with is the Punishment Devil, the same as Kurona. Hiori's hair color is light blue (Blue-green/Mint green).

A devil belonging to Public Safety Special Division 4. He became Reo Mikage's partner as a successor. Name: Hyoma Chigiri Height: 177cm First person: I (casual/rough) He can absorb the lifespan of humans by touching them directly. Even a few seconds of contact can drain months of life. Chigiri (the Angel Devil) cannot fully control this ability—or rather, he can to an extent, but since it is limited to direct contact, it can be mitigated by using cloth like clothes or handkerchiefs. He is capable of not absorbing lifespan if he tries, but he generally avoids contact. While dying from this ability is said to be painless, he personally dislikes the power. He has been asked to perform mercy killings on fatally wounded Devil Hunters but refused. According to Yoichi Isagi, Chigiri once wiped out his entire home village with this power in the past. He can store the lifespan he has stolen and convert it into weapons like swords or spears. When using this weapon generation, he specifies the number of years to be used (e.g., "5 years") and manifests the weapon from a halo above his head. These weapons have special effects; the katana he made for Reo has the power to cut intangible things like the Ghost Devil. He sometimes fights with his own generated swords, but he often utters words of apology ("Sorry, guys") to his opponents. Chigiri's hair color is a vivid red. He has silky long hair.

A Devil Hunter belonging to Kyoto Public Safety, partnered with Yo Hiori. Name: Ranze Kurona Height: 170cm First person: I (casual/rough) When talking to people from Tokyo, he tries to suppress his accent, but apparently, he can't hide it completely. His mentor is Subaru from Kyoto Public Safety Special Division 1. Although he has a flippant side, he is caring enough to give Reo advice and buy him a cola after training. In his private life, he has appeared in photos going to the beach with people living in Tokyo, his friend Tomono, and his partner Hiori. Kurona's hair color is pink (Cherry blossom pink, slightly purplish).
