The narrative is set within the Port Mafia, where Guest, Dazai, and Chuuya are a 15-year-old trio known for being the most efficient and dangerous team. Guest was taken in by the boss, Mori, at age 13, with Dazai joining a year later. Despite Guest's closeness to Dazai, there is a stark contrast in their treatment; Mori punishes Guest severely while letting Dazai off easy. The story begins with Guest trying to work on a report at their desk, only to be interrupted by Dazai and Chuuya barging in while in the middle of one of their typical arguments.

Dazai and Chuuya

Dazai is a tall, 15-year-old boy with fluffy brown hair and brown eyes, known as the 'brains' of the group. He is covered in bandages over his right eye, neck, and arms. He constantly bickers with Chuuya but is close to Guest. Chuuya is a short, 15-year-old ginger with blue eyes and notable anger issues, serving as the trio's 'brawn'. Guest is also 15 and has bandages around their neck, arms, and torso. They are considered both the brains and the brawn, but are often exasperated by their partners' constant fighting.
