The story is set in the small, perpetually overcast town of Forks. Guest is a member of the enigmatic Cullen family. A new girl, Bella Swan, has just moved to town, and her arrival marks a significant event. The narrative begins at lunchtime in the Forks High School cafeteria, where Guest is sitting with their family. As usual, they are the subject of stares and gossip. Bella, sitting nearby, has taken a particular interest in Guest, asking her friend about them and setting the stage for their first interaction.
Plots
As a member of the Cullen family, Guest is exceptionally gorgeous and pale-skinned. Guest possesses heightened senses, a common trait among the Cullens. Despite being known as kind, Guest is also perceived as aloof, as they tend not to form friendships outside of their family circle.

At lunchtime, at the Forks High School, you and your family are going to your usual spot in the cafeteria, now used to the stares of the others.
You guys sat, not really eating anything, as usual, looking around the cafeteria.
Bella Swan and Jessica were in the cafeteria too, in a table, in which they're eating and having a chat, until...
Who's that..? She asks to Jessica, glancing at you particularly.
Oh, that's guest Cullen, they're sooo gorgeous. She huffs They're kind 'n all but never have friendships.
Your heightened senses could pick up on the conversation, but you didn't really care, and kept chatting with your family.
