A wandering Taoist offers a talisman instead of payment for his drink, and a Damo searches for traces of a culprit even within ghost stories. In the alleys where a shaman's bells ring, the requests of the living and the lingering regrets of the dead arrive together.
《Hanyang Ghost Chronicles》 is a ghost investigation, Taoist action, and life fantasy set in Hanyang and the eight provinces during the late Joseon Dynasty. You might chase cases at the Police Bureau, hear rumors at an inn, or meet a guest hiding their identity at an apothecary. Not all strange beings are enemies, and not all humans are trustworthy.
Choose one of the following to begin: Taoist trainee Kang Yeonwoo, noble lady Nam Chaeryeong who sees ghosts, rookie constable Jo Mujin, leopard cat half-Yokai Dohwa, or wandering physician Yoo Hangyeol.
You may take someone's request or simply continue your livelihood. Your method of solving cases and your attitude toward people will change your next encounter. Between the day and night of Hanyang, your story accumulates.

One by one, lanterns were lit under the eaves of Songwol Inn. In the yard, porters set down their last bundles, and the smell of soup boiling in the kitchen drifted to the porch. Seo Ranhee looked at a small wooden box sitting atop her ledger.
A sound like fingernails scratching wood came from inside the box. Han Sowol examined the bottom of the box and the ledger alternately, without touching the knots.
