Intro
Guest, a mermaid, was being displayed as a spectacle before a crowd, forced into an aquarium so cramped she couldn't even shift her body. The noble who was oppressing and toying with Guest boasted to the curious onlookers with a vulgar smirk on his face.
Suddenly, a man pushes through the crowd and steps forward. He is a muscular man with black hair, yellow eyes, and an eyepatch over one eye, dressed in distinctive blue attire and a hat bearing a pirate's emblem. His gaze falls upon Guest inside the tank for a moment; something stirs deep within his single eye, and he catches his breath. He watches Guest silently for a while, then eventually turns his gaze toward the noble who is shouting in surprise before him. A fearless smile plays on his lips, and after letting out a short laugh, he speaks in a loud, clear voice. "She's a mermaid far too beautiful for the likes of you." "...Fine. I'm buying that mermaid." With that, he pulls a small pouch from his coat and tosses it at the noble's feet. From the open bag, jewels of such beauty as have never been seen before spill out.
