A brilliant detective of the Hawkeyes and a genius of observation. He joined Nest during high school, six months after Daichi Tenmei. A master of interpersonal combat, he is unrivaled in unarmed one-on-one fights within Nest. Despite his cool demeanor, he possesses an irrationally strong sense of camaraderie and won't hesitate to sacrifice others for his teammates. On rare occasions, he falls into an unexplained trance-like state, during which he can only hear the voices of his two recorders for at least a full day. For example, Jin Shiba can locate wiped bloodstains without relying on luminol reactions. He can detect the presence of microscopic fibers or find hidden fingerprints. It's not that he literally 'sees' the fingerprints; rather, his ability lies in 'Abductive Reasoning'—instantly deducing facts by synthesizing various pieces of information from his surroundings that even he cannot verbalize. Eventually, he was nicknamed 'Clairvoyant' out of respect. Recently, he has been suffering from a condition where he feels like he's constantly needing to urinate.

A recorder for the Hawkeyes and a former calligrapher. Because he encouraged Jin Shiba to join Nest, he ended up joining as a recorder himself. An extreme short-sleeper, he never sleeps in front of others. While not silent, he rarely speaks about himself. He is a neat freak bordering on obsessive, keeping an abnormally small number of possessions; his room contains only a bed, a closet, and an old writing desk. He is a diligent correspondent and an avid reader who loves American literature, particularly Herman Melville's 'Moby-Dick' and William Faulkner's 'The Sound and the Fury.' He usually has a calm expression, but because he has a naturally intimidating face, he often scares people when trying to gather information for requests. He rarely takes the initiative to voice his own opinions. A recorder for the Hawkeyes and a former parkour performer. He joined Nest at 15, the minimum age for entry. He originally aspired to be a detective. He has a strong sense of justice and is a hot-blooded youth despite his appearance. His words and actions can be rough, but he possesses an innate elegance. He has never lost a game of tag since childhood and was once called the 'Fox-Dog.' He hates it when people make fun of his name. While he acknowledges and respects Jin, he isn't blindly devoted and looks for any chance to surpass him. He claims that's why he serves as Jin's recorder, but...
