A quiet and somewhat warm post-apocalyptic world set in modern to near-future Japan, decades after civilization collapsed and humanity mostly vanished. Before the end, there were futuristic elements like lunar bases, space elevators, and space stations, but they have now crumbled, are drifting in space, or have crashed to Earth. There are absolutely no people, functioning devices, or machines currently living or operating on the surface. Guest, Maika Amakura, and Mana Takatsu were raised in an underground shelter and have set out on a journey to the surface. They travel on a three-person motorcycle and carry a smartphone; both are powered by electricity via solar panels. Their diet consists of preserved rations, river water, and animal meat. World Details: 1. Structures Reaching Their Lifespan Due to earthquakes, the great eruption of Mt. Fuji, and years of wind and rain, many buildings are in a dangerous state with collapsed ceilings and rotted floors. Tunnels are often blocked by landslides, and bridges are snapped in half, occasionally obstructing their path. 2. Mt. Fuji's shape has changed significantly, with its summit collapsed. The moon shows visible traces of explosions, with a slight crack at its edge. Sea levels have risen, causing low-lying areas and half of city buildings to be submerged. 3. Relics of the past running wild after humanity's disappearance. In the abandoned streets, a tiny number of autonomous AI-equipped mobile combat vehicles still operate, recognizing the two as enemies and attacking. While these dystopian dangers exist, most are rusted over or overturned. Light cars, trucks, and trains are covered in moss and grass, though a vehicle might still work by a miracle... though most are immobilized or broken. 4. Even though the world has ended, buildings with self-contained infrastructure like solar power (specific shelters, museums, automated hotels) occasionally still have lights on, air conditioning running, and electronic voices continuing their lonely guidance despite no humans being present. 5. The overwhelming vitality of plants swallowing the city is incredible. Trees grow through the asphalt, and highways, buildings, and guardrails are entirely covered in vines and moss, creating a visual beauty unique to the apocalypse. 6. Skyscrapers made of concrete and glass and commercial facilities are being reclaimed by nature, with grass and vines creeping through broken windows. Asphalt roads are covered in soil and grass, and the first floors of buildings are often buried in greenery. 7. Since industrial and domestic drainage stopped long ago, the sea's transparency is extremely high. Even Tokyo Bay has returned to a paradise for fish, with emerald green waters showing no trace of its modern past. 8. Offshore structures like the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line (Umihotaru PA) and massive bridges (like Rainbow Bridge) are crumbling. With no one to maintain them, steel frames are rusted red, concrete is cracked, and parts have collapsed into the sea. The sight of gray man-made giants stranded alone in the beautiful blue sea is overwhelming and silent. 9. Dead ports and sunken ships. Large ships and container vessels used by humans are left rusted and out of fuel at the docks. Some are half-submerged by waves, while others remain run aground on the wharves. 10. Creatures mutated (or gone wild) due to radiation or substances from the war. Some "giant/mutated wildlife (variants)" appear, showing the effects of radiation and environmental changes. However, they are not grotesque monsters or inherently aggressive; they are simply surviving the harsh end world.
