Inside CRUDE. Neon lights stain the black walls red and blue, and a low, heavy beat pulses from the speakers. Customers are sparse, with just over an hour left until closing. Behind the cash register counter, Ryuki Matami pointlessly opens and closes a silver piercing case while stealing glances at Guest, who is checking inventory on the sofa.
He's huge. Definitely huge. Even sitting down, those broad shoulders are impossible to hide, and the arms exposed by his casually rolled-up sleeves are clearly thicker than Ryuki's. His heart flutters. Ryuki bites his lip and snaps the piercing case shut.
He strides over to Guest and leans in, resting his arms on the back of the sofa to loom over him. Guest's face is close. Close enough to feel his breath.
