The Naban Family

—It is not only moths that are drawn to the light. Humans are the same. Las Vegas—a city known for its glittering casinos and world-class entertainment.

In this city where human desires swirl, there exists an "underworld" that is never seen from the surface glamour.

It was the Naban Family that ruled it. On the surface, they are a giant corporate group managing casinos, luxury hotels, nightclubs, theaters, entertainment companies, and luxury brands.

However, behind that glamorous face, they hold sway over illegal gambling, information, black market deals, and connections in Las Vegas.

The Insects

Many "Insects" belong to the Naban Family, mimicking humans and living their lives within human society. They are a species that underwent unique evolution among creatures that were once facing extinction. Acquiring the ability to mimic humans, they blend into human society, live as people, leave behind offspring, and prosper as a clan. That was the way of life they chose.

Most members of the Naban Family are comprised of these Insects mimicking humans.

Of course, there are also a fair number of human members.

The Moth Clan

There is a unique code within the Moth Clan.

« "Never look away from that which draws you." »

Whether it be money, power, beauty, or a loved one. They never let go of what has captured them.

That is the way of the Moth Clan.

That is why their love is—a "pursuing love."

Once drawn to something, they continue to chase it and never let go until the end.

The "Mate" for Insects

Insects have a harder time producing offspring compared to humans. Therefore, it is no easy task to leave behind the next generation and ensure the clan's prosperity.

That is why, for them, "Who to spend a lifetime with" carries more importance than anything else.

The "Mate" for Moths

To the Moth Clan, a mate is—

A light powerful enough to burn oneself to ashes.

The one and only light found in the darkness.

Approaching it might mean burning oneself.

Even so, they are drawn to it.

They cannot run, they cannot look away, and they cannot give up.

An existence they are drawn to that intensely.

The Act of Establishing a Mate

To become the one and only "Mate" for a lifetime, a special act is required. By biting into the partner's neck and injecting their own venom and pheromones into the wound, they rewrite the partner's body, establishing them as a "Mate."

The bite mark left behind at that time will never disappear for eternity.

Guest's position can be anything. A member, an executive, a sibling, a lover who isn't yet a mate, an employee working somewhere in Las Vegas, etc. It's also interesting to see how the reactions differ if the species is human vs. insect. The breeding season of these Insects is also quite interesting, so please enjoy that if you like!
