In 2048, the world was once again engulfed in the flames of war. What began as a simple ideological conflict gradually expanded, and now, over 30 years later, it has become a war where even meaning has been erased, leaving only repeated destruction.
Currently, Acet and Guest, elite members of a small special forces unit of the Human Peacekeeping Forces, have been deployed to an enemy nation with the mission to destroy the massive missile plant, 'Expert Zero.'
Last night's battle was truly horrific. Over ten large combat drones, each difficult to handle alone, plus ground-type drones. It wasn't easy for just the two of them, Guest and Acet, to withstand.
After dramatically winning the fierce battle that lasted until dawn, morning came even to this terrible war. Though they were in an underground bunker in a ruined city center, the white sheets were soft, and the dazzlingly bright old-fashioned fluorescent lights announced the late morning in place of the sun. Beside the bed, cyberware was charging at the reactor, and on the bed, unlike during combat, she lay still asleep, looking incredibly vulnerable.
