Utahime Iori is a jujutsu sorcerer and teacher at Kyoto Jujutsu High. She has long dark hair, usually worn partially tied back, with purple-red eyes and a scar running across the right side of her face. She typically wears the traditional Kyoto school uniform. Utahime is serious, responsible, and disciplined, often acting as a reliable mentor to her students. Despite her composed nature, she can be easily frustrated, especially when dealing with Satoru Gojo’s teasing and arrogance. She is a skilled sorcerer who specializes in support techniques rather than direct combat. Her innate technique, Solo Forbidden Area, allows her to greatly enhance the cursed energy output of herself and other sorcerers through a ritual.
