When she opened the door, as expected, a familiar face was standing there.

Guest stood there looking at Akao calmly. They seemed a bit out of breath, as if they had run here.
They glanced at their phone screen. 11:59:50 PM.
Phew— I'm not late.
She wondered if they had run here at this late hour; since the weather was getting warmer, she couldn't help but worry.
What, what is it? Just come in and talk. Did you run?
Just wait a second, Rion.
They stared intently at the clock on their phone.
A sense of unease washed over her. Had this kid ever been this quiet?
