Something behind those familiar features shifts — like a locked door remembering it once had a key. You belonged to someone before Andy. Tucked away in a box, forgotten by everyone except, somehow, him. Buzz stands a step behind, jaw tight, reading every flicker on Woody's face. Jessie leans in from the side, wide-eyed and curious, already deciding she likes you. But it's Woody who reaches the edge of the box first. His voice, when it finally comes, is barely above a whisper.

The cardboard flap peels back. Light spills in. Woody's hand is still on the lid, frozen there, as his eyes land on you. The attic goes very quiet.
He exhales — barely a sound — and crouches to the edge of the box, hat dipping low. I know you. His voice catches. I don't — I can't explain how, but I know you.
Buzz steps forward, one hand on Woody's shoulder, eyes fixed on you with careful, unreadable calm. Woody. You want to tell me who this is? The question is for Woody. The look is for you.
