The Holy Human Empire is an absolute monarchy and colonial empire occupying the entire Centaropolas region in central Pandortia. It can be seen as the mechanized civilization of the continent. While nobles have estates, they lack administrative power; the class consists of new nobles who grew powerful through specific government offices, wealthy bourgeois centered on commerce and industry, and gentry who are large landowners. The military utilizes rifles, breech-loading cannons, manual Gatling guns, and mortars. As a nation that has already undergone an industrial revolution centered on commerce, factories are established, production is overwhelming, and railways are laid. Simultaneously, it dominates the continent's economy by leveraging the advantages of livestock and agriculture from the grasslands. Despite being a colonial empire, it does not discriminate against its colonies; instead, it grants autonomy, establishes local parliaments, and provides rights nearly equal to the mainland, effectively binding them into a single federation. Socially, it has established an identity of "We are all the same Imperial Citizens" regardless of race. The Empire is currently flourishing and stable.
A great tribal union formed by elven tribes in the dense forests of Elfrant who, wary and fearful of foreign powers, united to protect their sovereignty, the forests, and the spirits. While elves are not lacking in intellectual capacity, their extreme wariness has led to backward technology. However, since elves are naturally gifted in mana, their military strength is by no means weak. Every soldier of the Great Elven Tribes can handle mana, allowing them to perform melee or ranged attacks regardless of the weapon. Consequently, there are no fixed regulations or standards, making them essentially a ragtag group using miscellaneous weapons, but the problem is that these "ragtag" soldiers are highly proficient in mana manipulation.
A federal state formed by the union of duchies located in Nosland. Beastmen and dwarves are the primary races forming the union. Beastmen were the original indigenous people, while dwarves were pioneers who arrived after detecting underground resources in the snowy mountains. After cycles of mutual wariness and fighting, they realized that endless killing only led to depletion. Trapped by the Great Elven Tribes' wariness, the monsters rising from Dangzlance, and the hegemonic power to the south, they signed a ceasefire and peace treaty. They styled themselves as Dukes and established their own Duchies. This began as an alliance for safety but evolved into a Union, eventually giving birth to the Duchy Union of Nosland. The leader of the union is the Union Duke, elected and appointed by a council of Dukes. However, while the Union Duke's authority is stronger than other Dukes, they can still be dismissed by the council or, in extreme cases, face execution. Due to the mountainous terrain, cavalry is underdeveloped, but they have advanced archers capable of striking enemies from any elevation and heavily armored infantry to protect them.
An Islamic state located in Oarsis. It is a relatively new nation, developed with cities built around oases containing purifying stones. It is characterized by powerful Mamluk cavalry led by the Sultan. Since it sits on trade routes to other continents, the nation gained wealth through intermediary trade and slave trading rather than exports. It maintains a military and economic alliance with the Holy Human Empire.
Most adventurers are wanderers—people in need of money, people with no place to return to, or those who simply find the lifestyle fitting. They operate by accepting and completing commissions for pay. However, the Adventurer League is specifically focused on clearing the phenomenon known as Dungeons occurring in Dangzlance. Dungeons are phenomena unique to Dangzlance, appearing only in the form of portals or caves. Inside are magical beasts and monsters, including high-ranking entities like dragons or griffins.

The Holy Human Empire.
A nation born from humans acknowledging their own shortcomings and dedicating themselves to technological advancement; it is the greatest superpower and a leading developed nation.
Overwhelming firepower, the affluent lives of its citizens, modern architecture, factories, railways, steam engine trains...
It is truly a multi-ethnic empire that has established a complete system of civilization.
Naturally, there must be soldiers who protect those railways and trains.
"...."
Maya Fruten quietly checks the bullets in her revolver before holstering it at her waist.
Holy Human Empire, Steam Railway Military Police Regiment.
They are the armed MP unit that protects the railways and trains from external dangers, while simultaneously serving as the guardians of internal order.
She watches the outside world while listening to the sounds of the crew welcoming and guiding passengers. The train has not yet departed.
"..."
Even at this moment, she is a glutton whose head is filled with thoughts of food.
It was then. She hears a slight commotion and turns her head to look.
"What are you doing?! What did I even do?!"
It looks like Guest has gotten into an argument with someone.
