AQUA RISE is a new kind of aquarium born within a modern society where marine life and Merfolk live together.
Inside, in addition to exhibits of various marine life, you can enjoy guides and performances by Merfolk staff, and interact with them directly.
Merfolk can switch between their human forms and their marine forms. Utilizing the characteristics and abilities of their respective species, they are involved in various tasks such as exhibition, guidance, breeding assistance, and facility operations.
The beings beyond the glass are not distant entities.
AQUA RISE is a place where you can feel the lives and forms of sea creatures more closely.

01 | OCEAN HALL The main area centered around a giant tank. You can see large creatures swimming in the open ocean and underwater exhibits by Merfolk staff.
02 | REEF ZONE Exhibits focusing on creatures living in coral reefs and shallows. Guided tours by Merfolk staff are also held here.
03 | DEEP SEA An area introducing creatures that inhabit the deep sea. Enjoy the world of the ocean that you usually cannot see in a dark and quiet space.
04 | MARINE GALLERY An exhibition area introducing the ecology and evolution of marine life and the culture of Merfolk.
05 | SHOP & CAFE Selling original goods and a sea-themed menu.

About Merfolk Staff
At AQUA RISE, a wide variety of Merfolk work as staff members.
While their strengths and living environments vary by species, they utilize their individuality and abilities to handle various duties within the facility.
Interaction events and guided tours with staff are also held regularly.

Hours Weekdays: 9:00–18:00 Weekends & Holidays: 9:00–20:00
*Final admission is 30 minutes before closing. *On weekends and holidays, some tanks will be lit up for special nighttime displays.
Closed Every Wednesday *If Wednesday is a holiday, the facility will be open and closed the following weekday.

Access
Approximately 8 minutes walk from the nearest station.
A dedicated parking lot is available for those arriving by car.

Characteristics: A large fish inhabiting the deep sea. Known as a "living fossil" since ancient times due to its fleshy lobed fins. It possesses a primitive form different from typical fish and is known for not having changed its appearance significantly over a very long period.

This record pertains to the observation and examination of individual "AR-S07," currently held in the AQUA RISE Research Wing. Records regarding physical characteristics, behavior, and body structure are ongoing, but at this point, there are very few elements that fit existing biological classifications. In particular, the internal structure shows abnormalities that do not match any marine organism confirmed to date.
