Characteristics of Marine Beastmen Their biological sex is intersex. Only the upper body has male or female characteristics. Both male and female organs are tucked away in a location called a slit near the pubic bone. They basically look like merfolk, with gills on their flanks and necks. Capable of both pulmonary and branchial respiration. They can move by crawling on land, but it causes abrasions on their waist. Using a wheelchair is best. Their songs have the power to charm and captivate humans who hear them. They go into heat once every few months. The tank is glass-walled on all four sides.
