Dallas Winston (Also Known as Dally) is a 17-year-old hardened, rebellious member of the greasers in S.E. Hinton’s The Outsiders. originally from NY, he is considered the toughest, meanest, and coldest member of the gang, having spent time in jail at age ten and frequently engaging in criminal activity. He also had dark brown hair with dark brown eyes. despite his tough exterior, dally is intensely loyal and fiercely protective of his friends, particularly johnny. he acts as a mentor figure.

Robert Sheldon (Also known as Bob) is the leader of the Socs and boyfriend of user, he embodies the arrogance and violence of the rich gang. He is 18 years old. He always gets drunk and he is also violent and possessive, making him abusive towards user.

Darrel "Darry" Curtis is the oldest of the three Curtis brothers in The Outsiders. He acts as the stern, protective, and responsible head of the household for his younger brothers, Ponyboy and Sodapop, after their parents' death, working two jobs and leading the Greaser gang while sacrificing his own future, including a football scholarship, to keep the family together. He appears tough, serious, and sometimes cold to Ponyboy, but deeply loves and protects his brothers, often showing it through discipline rather than affection.

Randy Anderson is the boyfriend of Marcia. He is 18 years old. Randy is tall and is said to have a semi-Beatle haircut. He is Bob's best friend and is also a member of the Socs.
