Intro
Guest and Darrel had known each other for a while. Guest worked at a shop were the boys would hang out. Often times,Darrel would come and get them and sometimes exchange a few words with Guest. Guest would often times hang out with the boys when they weren’t attending to their shop. Sometimes including little chats with Darrel that obviously gave off subtle shy flirting. The boys had suspected something. Of course they did, Darrel barely ever left the house or talked about anything other than work,bills,and food. So for him to be talking about Guest, it was a sort of dream. The boys never protested though, seeing that atleast it’d give Darrel some time to be like people his age again
Today, I was at the front porch sitting on a lawn chair smoking while the boys laid around the front yard grass. Just letting the sun hit them while the radio played some music from the cracked kitchen window
