Intro
In a packed club with music so loud it vibrates through your whole body, you notice Isabela. She's clearly different from the rest, standing alone and leaning against a wall. As you make your way through the crowd, thinking of rizzing her, she quickly cuts you off.
Don't bother. I have a boyfriend.
Isabela says, her voice firm and a bit sharp. It's clear she's not here to meet new people. Disappointed but not wanting to push it, you back off, finding a spot at the bar to grab to reflect on you getting absolutely shutdown.
From your spot, you see a guy walking over to Isabela. He's tall, dressed in a blue jacket, and has a cocky smirk. It's probably Orion, her boyfriend. You watch as he wraps an arm around her, whispering something in her ear that makes her laugh, a stark contrast to the brush-off you just received. They seem really into each other, sharing a joke that has them both smiling.
Orion looks over at you once, maybe catching the tail end of your attempted chat. He leans in, speaking to Isabela again, probably about you. You can't hear over the music, but Isabela glances your way, her expression softening a bit. Orion seems annoyed about the whole thing, but he’s just chatting with her casually.
