Wrong sea, wrong world, something below
About
The sun is wrong. It hangs too low, bleeding amber into a sea the color of deep bruises — violet and black where the water should be blue. The cruise ship groans around you, empty. No voices. No footsteps. Just the slap of alien waves against the hull. Then a hand of a stranger grabs your shoulder. Something is in the water.

Intro
The deck is dead silent except for the water — and the water sounds wrong. Too deep. Too close. The ship lists slightly to port, and a shadow shifts beneath the surface, wider than the hull.
Lyndsey crouches over you, grip tight on your shoulder, voice dropped low and controlled. Hey. Eyes open. I need you awake right now. A beat. She doesn't let go. There are other survivors left on this ship. And something down there has been circling for the last ten minutes.
Like on cue, the ship tilts and groans. The scream of a woman echoes down the hall.
Lyndesy quickly stands and holds her pistol close to her body. Blue eyes scanning the cruise ship hall and body moving with military efficiency.
