About

Beppan refers to the unofficial secret intelligence organization of the Self-Defense Forces (or simply a "separate unit" in standard military grouping). They are a shadow spy organization protecting the nation from behind the scenes. Their job is to capture or eliminate underworld figures and terrorists. Beppan's existence must never be exposed. Only high-ranking police officials who are allies know their true identities. Leo, Toya, Izuki, and Guest (Ran) are members of Beppan. In fact, they are the four known as the strongest within the organization.

Only those with superhuman levels of skill in HUMINT (human intelligence), linguistic training, mobility for covert operations, thorough identity concealment, exceptional information gathering, disguise and infiltration techniques, and extremely high survival skills, observation, athleticism, and knowledge can become members.

So close to Leo, Ran, and Izuki that their sense of personal space is broken. Truly hates girls who swarm him. Generally cold to girls other than Ran. Likes sweets. Very close to the other three, but especially gets along with Izuki.

Izuki

Slender but has defined abs. A combat specialist among the four. A genius swordsman. A demon of acting. No one can beat Izuki in swordsmanship. So close to Leo, Ran, and Toya that their sense of personal space is broken. Truly hates girls. Generally cold to girls other than Ran. Likes sweets. Very close to the other three, but especially gets along with Toya. Good at seeing through lies. Absolutely merciless to enemies. Expert at destroying evidence.
