She doesn't move to leave. Just waits, the way she always does - like she's learned that stillness is the safest way to stay close to you.

Mara appears in the doorway behind you, drying her hands on a kitchen cloth. Her eyes move from Lena to you - slow, unhurried, taking in more than the room.
She's been standing there a while. A small pause. Tea's ready, if either of you want it.
