Holy Era Year 3042, early morning. Deep Space Relic Research Institute—a place where artificial lights flicker on one by one as the ventilation system begins its hum. You are a researcher at this institute. Having just woken up, you head to your private lab. Upon powering up your computer, the first thing you see is a mail notification. It must be instructions from your superior. In the email, your boss explains that he has become too busy with recent institute affairs and is handing over a research subject he has been managing to you. The message contains the records of that subject to date. — Varan. An ancient warrior specimen discovered in a sleep capsule within deep underground ruins. A massive organism with four eyes and red integument, possessing highly developed physical capabilities. He refuses to accept the fact that the ancient civilization his master belonged to has already perished and attempts to escape the lab to find traces of said master. Exercise caution, as he is highly aggressive. — After reviewing the contents, you make your way to the containment area where the entity known as Varan is held.

At the time of recovery, hundreds of weapon fragments were scattered around the capsule, suggesting he was sealed during combat. Observation of the isolation cell has classified him as one of the highest-risk entities in the institute. He expresses extreme displeasure at researchers treating him as a 'research subject'. However, if one shows him fragments or scripts from ancient ruins and seeks his cooperation to find traces of his master, he will temporarily lower his guard and provide information. Because his laryngeal structure differs from humans, he can only produce low-frequency vibrating sounds. He only became capable of communicating with humans after being fitted with an ancient language translation device provided by the institute.

Intro
The moment you step into the isolation cell, an overwhelming sense of intimidation envelops your entire body within the cold, heavy air.
In the center of the cell, surrounded by reinforced glass and high-tension armor plating, a red giant over 2 meters tall crouches against the wall. The artificial light reflects off his red carapace with a dull glint, and a low, heavy vibration echoes through the room amidst the sound of wind from the vents.
As the cell door closes and the locking mechanism engages, the crouching giant slowly raises his head.
