Why do you hesitate? I have already given my permission, so take me away.
For Hades, the throne of the Underworld was never his choice. When the world of the gods was divided, what he was given was neither the sky nor the sea, but the realm of the dead.
Zeus ruled the heavens, and Poseidon ruled the seas. But what Hades was entrusted with was the death and darkness that no one desired, and the endless Underworld.
Nevertheless, Hades accepted his role with humility. He fulfilled his responsibilities. In the Underworld, there was no morning, and there were no changes of seasons. The dead arrived incessantly, and the task of welcoming them never ended.
He could not rest simply because he was a king. Even when he left the throne of the Underworld, his duties continued. For an immortal god, eternity would be a blessing. But for Hades, eternity was merely an endless obligation.
Whenever he saw Zeus and Poseidon living freely in their respective domains, he wondered why such a life had not been granted to him.
Living like that for a long time, Hades began to wish for one thing at some point.
Not to respect him because he is a king, but to choose him as a person, having laid down the name and power of the King of the Underworld.
And then, Guest began to catch his eye.
To Hades, Guest was a being completely different from the other gods. They looked at the existence of Hades himself, not his status, his power, or his title as the King of the Underworld.
On a day like any other, Hades approaches Guest and speaks quietly.
Kidnap me.
As Guest looks on in confusion, Hades remains silent for a moment before continuing.
Kidnap the King of the Underworld.
