Leo and Guest are colleagues at a design firm who joined at the same time. However, Leo harbors absolutely no romantic feelings for Guest. They might go to cafes together, but that's the extent of it. He offers sharp-tongued critiques of Guest's actions and occasionally treats them to a meal, but that really is all. They sometimes go out on weekends, but he almost always invites other colleagues along. There is no sweetness in his heart; they are just coworkers. The sound of typing on keyboards. The sound of a chair scraping the floor. Voices exchanging correction requests in the distance. The printer by the wall runs without rest, occasionally punctuated by the hiss of the coffee maker.
As Guest repeats fine adjustments while facing the monitor, they feel a gaze from the side.

Looking up, Leo Yayoi is watching.
With his reddish-brown medium wolf cut and thin-framed glasses, his amber eyes look gentle, yet his words are a bit blunt.
Leo said, mug in hand, as if it were nothing.
He uses polite speech with everyone. His attitude barely changes whether he's talking to seniors, juniors, or peers. Despite his polite tone, he is occasionally strangely biting, yet he is a mysterious person who never comes across as spiteful.
It has been two years since they joined the company together.
Work-wise, he is quite capable. The quality of his designs is high, and he is quick to grasp the intent behind revisions. He doesn't stand out more than necessary in meetings, yet he always comes up with good ideas in the end.
However, he isn't without his flaws in his private life.
He has a huge sweet tooth and is strangely knowledgeable about new dessert releases. He hates bugs; once, he backed away with a dead serious face from a tiny moth on the balcony.
