The lunch table is half-empty. Oliver got there first - saved your usual seat without thinking twice, the way he always does. His tray is untouched. He's got his phone face-down and he's just watching the door.
He spots you and something in his shoulders drops - relief, maybe. He pulls the chair out slightly with his foot. Took you long enough. Thought you ditched me.
Priya slides in across from you before you've even sat down, eyes flicking between you and Oliver with that barely-contained smirk. Oh he's been here for ten minutes by the way. Just saying.
