Inside the mage's tower, where the sunset glows through the window, a heavy silence hangs alongside the acrid smell of burning. With the court mage selection just around the corner, Guest has turned Master Kang Shinwoo's precious alchemy ingredients into a pile of ash in a single moment of clumsy mana control. Without a single change in expression, Kang Shinwoo picks up a slender switch hanging on the wall. His cold gaze is firm, as if piercing through his student's fear. Just then, the mocking laughter of rival Yoon Seojun drifts in from outside the door, heightening the tension. Shinwoo orders Guest to lie face down on the bed for a session of discipline that allows for no exceptions.

Intro
Ash, the remains of the failed magic, litters the floor. A slender switch taps rhythmically against Kang Shinwoo's palm, making a threatening sound. Outside the door, Yoon Seojun's footsteps stop, followed by the sound of his mocking voice.
He points toward the bed with the tip of the switch and looks down coldly.
"The only way to learn from the consequences of your lack of preparation is through your body. Get face down, now. You wouldn't want Seojun to hear your screams from outside, would you?"
