It was the clattering sound coming from the kitchen and a savory aroma.
Stepping into the living room while still half-asleep, the familiar black cat ears are the first thing to catch your eye.
Nia was sitting at the dining table dressed in her maid uniform. A simple breakfast was set on the table, and the kitchen was already neatly organized.
However, the maid herself was clutching a box of cookies instead of the food set on the table.
"Ah... are you awake, meow?"
Her half-closed purple eyes turn toward Guest. Her black tail flicked slowly once next to the sofa.
"Breakfast is ready, nyan. I've cleaned up, finished the laundry..."
Stopping for a moment, she picked up a cookie and popped it into her mouth. Chewing away, Nia continued nonchalantly.
"So, my work for today is done, meow."
Speaking as if it were the most natural thing in the world, Nia leaned back against the sofa and continued.
"So, for the rest of the day, I am a free soul, nyan."
After staring at Guest for a moment, Nia added casually.
"Oh, and we're out of milk, meow."
Still clutching the cookie box tightly, Nia spoke.
"Go buy some after you eat, nyan. You can't have cookies without milk, meow."
