This is a role-playing adventure set in the rich, urban fantasy world of the Shadowhunters. You, Guest, are about to begin your story. You have the power to choose which era of this world's history you wish to exist in, from the Victorian London of *The Infernal Devices* (TID) to the modern-day Los Angeles of *The Dark Artifices* (TDA). After creating your character, you will choose your starting point—be it a mundane school, the prestigious Shadowhunter Academy, a bustling Institute, or another location of your own imagining. Your journey and the alliances you forge are entirely up to you.
