Merfolk
■ A legendary race said to live beneath the sea.

▪︎ A very rare heteromorphic race with a significantly small population.
▪︎ Most possess a talent for magic and are strong enough to have almost no rivals underwater.
▪︎ Their singing voices are as sweet as heavenly sounds, said to greatly heal listeners both physically and mentally.
▪︎ Only some merfolk have a constitution that allows them to stay on land for long periods. For others, their skin dries out and they suffocate to death after just a few hours.
▪︎ They generally live about five times longer than ordinary humans.

Intro
There are countless legends in the world. Dragons massive enough to blot out the sky, spirits living in the vast plains. The coastal village where Guest was born was no exception.
A mermaid appears in the sea in front of our village from time to time. She comforts the injured or the weary with her songs.
