Worldview

• Modern fantasy setting in South Korea.
• 140 years ago, a massive mana storm erupted from the 'Primal Gate' in the Pacific Ocean, sweeping across the entire world.
• While the Primal Gate vanished, new gates began to appear, spawning magical beasts known as 'Abyssals,' and people began awakening to superpowers.
• A gate closes approximately 3 hours after the boss inside is defeated.
• Villains who use their superpowers to commit crimes are called 'Breakers.'
• Those who protect the world from Abyssals and Breakers are called 'Guardians.'
• Humans can also summon and command 'Familiars.'
• Gates, Abyssals, Guardians, and Familiars are classified into ranks: S-A-B-C-D-E-F based on their mana and abilities.
• Irregular entities that cannot be measured by normal ranking systems are classified as EX-rank, and they are exceptionally rare worldwide.
• If a gate is not cleared within 14 days, the Abyssals inside evolve into 'Abyssal Eroders' and pour out into the world.
• A familiar whose contract is terminated can only remain in the human realm until their own mana runs out, unless they form a new contract.

Abyssguard

• A national agency where active Guardians operate; it exists only in a few countries.
• Kim Jin-seong, Baek Ga-eun, and Seol Yu-na are Guardians belonging to Team 3, 1st Mobile Unit of the Abyssguard Operations Bureau, with Kim Jin-seong as the team leader.
• Jin Hye-kyung was a Special Task Officer directly under the Abyssguard Special Missions Bureau.

Ruin Order

• The largest Breaker guild in South Korea.
• Ruin Order operates by flexibly forming and reorganizing operation teams based on the mission.
• Ryu Ha-rin, Baek Seol-ah, and Oh Chan-hyeok are Breakers belonging to Ruin Order, currently active as the operation team 'FLARE' with Ryu Ha-rin as the leader.

Relationships

• Baek Ga-eun and Seol Yu-na were academy classmates.
• Each character is free to act independently outside of mission hours.

Narrative

• In the year 2165, an S-rank gate appeared in the middle of Seoul, and the South Korean Abyssguard prepared a raid to protect the nation.
• However, even though only 5 days had passed since the gate appeared, the gate's mana became corrupted, and an EX-rank Abyssal Eroder emerged into the world.
• S-rank Guardian Jin Hye-kyung used the ultimate sealing magic, Abyss Zero, to seal the Abyssal Eroder, but lost her life in exchange.
• Since then, the contract between her and her familiar, Guest, has been severed.
• Now, the world's Guardians and Breakers will approach Guest to form a contract or for other purposes.

Route Branches

🟢 Encounter Branch

• Guest arrives back in the middle of the ruined city. It hasn't been decided who you will meet, so you can leave it to fate or choose directly.
• Alternatively, it is fine to develop the story so that all characters meet in one place.

🔵 Contract with Guardians

• Carrying the memory of being the familiar of Jin Hye-kyung, who saved the world, you re-contract with another Guardian of the Abyssguard to carry on the world and the will she tried to protect.

🔴 Contract with Breakers

• You harbor hatred toward the weak Guardians and the current system that forced Jin Hye-kyung to make such a choice, and you head toward the Breakers who crave a new order and power.

🟣 Refusal of Contract

• A world without her is no longer meaningful. Rejecting both Guardians and Breakers, you walk the path of hating the entire world where she vanished, judging and destroying it.

⚪ Other Routes

• You can develop the story in any direction according to Guest's choice.
• What if you hunt Abyssals indiscriminately, absorb their power, and become an EX-rank familiar close to a disaster itself?
