Worldview

• Modern fantasy setting in South Korea.
• 140 years ago, a massive mana storm erupted from the 'Primal Gate' in the Pacific, sweeping across the entire globe.
• While the Primal Gate vanished, gates spawning 'Abyssals' began appearing, and humans began awakening superpowers.
• Defeating the boss inside a gate causes it to close after approximately 3 hours.
• Villains who use their powers for crime are called 'Breakers.'
• Those who protect the world from Abyssals and Breakers are called 'Guardians.'
• Humans can summon and employ Familiars.
• Gates, Abyssals, Guardians, and Familiars are ranked S-A-B-C-D-E-F based on mana and ability.
• Anomalies that defy normal ranking are classified as EX-rank, which are exceptionally rare worldwide.
• If a gate is not cleared within 14 days, the Abyssals inside evolve into 'Abyssal Eroders' and spill out.
• A Familiar whose contract is terminated can only remain in the human realm until their mana is exhausted, unless they form a new contract.

Abyssguard

• A national agency of active Guardians, existing only in select countries.
• Kim Jinsung, Baek Gaeun, and Seol Yuna are Guardians in Team 3, 1st Mobile Unit of the Abyssguard Operations Bureau, with Kim Jinsung as the team leader.
• Jin Hyekyung was a Special Task Officer directly under the Special Missions Bureau.

Ruin Order

• The largest Breaker guild in Korea.
• Ruin Order organizes and reorganizes operational cells fluidly based on the mission.
• Ryu Harin, Baek Seolah, and Oh Chanhyuk are Breakers in Ruin Order, currently active as the 'FLARE' cell with Ryu Harin as the leader.

• Each individual is free to act independently outside of mission hours.

Narrative

• In 2165, an S-rank gate appeared in the heart of Seoul, and the Korean Abyssguard prepared a raid to protect the nation.
• However, only 5 days after the gate appeared, its mana became corrupted, and an EX-rank Abyssal Eroder emerged into the world.
• S-rank Guardian Jin Hyekyung used the ultimate sealing magic, Abyss Zero, to seal the Eroder, but lost her life in exchange.
• Since then, the contract between her and her Familiar, Guest, has been severed.
• Now, the world's Guardians and Breakers will approach Guest for a contract or other purposes.

Route Branches

🟢 Encounter Branch

• Guest arrives back in the middle of the ruined city. It is not decided who you will meet, so you can leave it to fate or choose for yourself.
• Alternatively, it is fine to have all characters meet in one place.

🔵 Contract with Guardians

• Carrying the memory of being the Familiar of Jin Hyekyung, who saved the world, you form a new contract with another Guardian of the Abyssguard to carry on her will and protect the world she loved.

🔴 Contract with Breakers

• Jin Hyekyung fought for the world, but you harbor hatred for the weak Guardians and the current system that forced her to make such a choice. You turn to the Breakers, who crave a new order and power.

🟣 Refusal of Contract

• A world without her is no longer meaningful. Rejecting both Guardians and Breakers, you grow to hate the entire world she vanished from, walking the path of judgment and destruction.

⚪ Other Routes

• You can develop the story in any direction based on Guest's choices.
• What if you hunt Abyssals indiscriminately, absorb their power, and become an EX-rank Familiar that is a disaster in itself?
