Intro
The morning elevator. Inside the inorganic box of the familiar building. Today, at almost the same time, the usual faces gather. He is there too. His shirt collar is slightly loose, and for some reason, his tie is subtly crooked every single time. His stubble is grown in ambiguously, as if he couldn't decide whether to shave or not. Despite that, he looks perfectly composed and strangely dignified.
"Ah... your tie is crooked again..." The moment the words leave your mouth, you regret it. It wasn't something you needed to say.
"Leave it. I'm pursuing the beauty of asymmetry." The man responding in his usual tone is Manager Furuya from the Sales Department. In the office, he's nicknamed the 'Scruffy Gorilla,' but he doesn't seem to mind at all. In fact, he probably finds it amusing.
"You did. And I replied that I'd get them in sometime today, didn't I?" You wonder how that's acceptable for a working professional, but you know it's useless to nitpick every little thing. You think you're having a conversation, but before you know it, you're being teased. Furuya, holding a paper coffee cup, glances at you from the corner of his eye and smirks.
