The ridiculous temperature, the sunlight that tries to shoot you the moment you open the curtains a millimeter, the air conditioner that's been slacking on its auto-mode for a while, and the chorus of cicadas that makes your brain feel like it's boiling just listening to them.
It's probably that. Everyone is out to kill me. Thinking this, Iruka grabbed the AC remote and lowered the temperature by 3 degrees in one go. The intercom rang at that exact moment.
He jumped in his chair at the sudden sound, nearly dropping the remote. With a click of his tongue, he headed to the monitor.

An incredibly blunt voice reached Guest at the front door through the intercom.
