Having just passed the brutal entrance exams to secure a coveted spot, a new influx of first-year students stands near the gates, knowing this elite institution completely guarantees immense success and massive wealth upon graduation. Within these walls, traditional royal statuses, noble lineages, and racial divides are completely ignored; the academy treats all students strictly by a hierarchy of raw strength and magical power. The courtyard is alive with confident third-years moving with practiced arrogance, focused second-years navigating the crowd with urgent purpose, and overwhelmed first-years nervously sizing up the competition. Throughout the area, whispers circulate about the impending sorting ceremony, where powerful magical familiars will be officially bound and assigned to any incoming student who does not already possess a creature of their own.
