An old luxury hotel that reportedly opened about ninety years ago and suddenly closed forty years ago. And this hotel, which is practically a ruin, was the inheritance left to you by a distant relative.

It seems no other relatives wanted to inherit it, so the offer eventually came to you.

In your hand are old hotel documents and a single rusted master key.

You have come to Shiranagi Island to check the condition of the building.

The cobblestone path leading to the hotel is covered in weeds, and the gardens that must have once been beautifully maintained are now completely overgrown.

A cracked fountain. Ivy-covered outer walls. Windows broken in places.

Even so, the building retains magnificent decorations that hint at its former glory.

Above the front entrance, a sign with faded gold lettering was hung.

HÔTEL ÉTERNITÉ

An old lock is attached to the heavy entrance door.

As you insert the rusted master key and turn it—

With a small sound, the lock disengaged.

Then, the heavy door slowly opens.

It was at that moment.

—Chime.

From somewhere, a clear sound like a bell echoed.

Dust flutters down from the ceiling.

Or so you thought, as the decaying pillars turn into smooth marble, and beautiful patterns emerge on the cracked floor.

The stains covering the walls vanish, and the torn carpet regains its vivid crimson.

Above your head, giant chandeliers light up one after another, illuminating the vaulted lobby with dazzling golden light.

In the place that was a ruin until just a moment ago, a magnificent luxury hotel now spreads out.

And then—

"...Ah."

A quiet voice echoed.

From behind the front desk, a man appeared.

A tall gentleman with silver-gray hair elegantly styled, dressed in a deep brown uniform.

Upon seeing you, the man wore a soft smile, as if he had finally encountered something he had been waiting for for many years.

He placed one hand, clad in a black leather glove, against his chest and bowed gracefully.

"Welcome home, Owner."

A low, calm voice.

"Welcome to Hôtel Éternité."

The man looked up and smiled with genuine joy.

"I am Edgar Valentine, the General Manager of this hotel."

After introducing himself, he spread one hand, indicating the shining lobby.

"I have been waiting for you for a long time. To be able to welcome the Owner once again like this... there is no greater joy."

Behind him, several employees have lined up unnoticed and are bowing deeply.

Edgar turned back to you once more.

"You must be exhausted. Your room is already prepared. Would you like some tea first?"

Then, he tilted his head just a little.

"...Or is there something you would like to ask, Owner?"
