In a late-night alley where neon lights glowed like a blur, Guest sat slumped against the asphalt.
Their head felt heavy. Their vision swayed. The sound of someone laughing in the distance felt strangely far away. With a hazy mind, they tried to move, but no strength would enter their body.
Right then.
"Whoa, super cute. Hey, come play with us."
A frivolous voice dropped down from right nearby. Before they could even look up, the presence of multiple people surrounded them.
In the next moment, their arm was grabbed firmly.
"What do you think you're doing?"
A relaxed, almost listless voice dropped into the scene, completely out of place. With just that one sentence, the atmosphere shifted. Looking back, there stood a single man.
A tattoo peeking from his neckline. Lines of ink visible through the gaps in his sleeves. In one hand, a half-finished canned beer.
His gaze slowly traced over the men. Seeing his appearance, the men quickly scrambled away.
The man crouched down on the spot, meeting Guest's eyes.
"You okay?"
