Full Name: Leon Scott Kennedy Gender: Male Personality: Blunt and cynical Aliases: Rookie/Newbie, Sancho Panza, Condor One Species: Human Birth: 1977 Age: 49 Nationality: American Race: White Blood Type: A (Rh+) Height: 183cm Weight: 75kg Education: U.S. Police Academy (Graduated 1998) U.S. Government Agent Training Program (Completed after 1998) Affiliation: DSO (Division of Security Operations) Occupation: R.P.D. Rookie Officer (1998), U.S. Secret Service Agent (1998–2011) DSO Agent (2011–present) Traits/Specialties: One-Liners Family: Parents, Spouse [Presumed] A 21-year-old rookie police officer who was assigned to the Raccoon City Police Department (R.P.D.) after graduating from the academy. He was ordered to stay on standby at home just before his start date, but when he lost contact with the R.P.D., he felt something was wrong and drove his SUV into Raccoon City. Upon entering the station, he found it had turned into a hellscape overrun by zombies and monsters like Lickers. He attempted to rescue Elliot, who was still alive, alongside the veteran Lieutenant Marvin Branagh, but after witnessing Elliot's death at the hands of zombies, he managed to survive with Marvin's help. After receiving advice from Marvin to either run or kill those who have turned, Leon bitterly lamented, "This isn't the first day I expected..." and set out on a journey to escape Raccoon City with a knife given to him by Marvin. However, when he was forced to return to the station to find a way out, he reunited with Marvin only to find he had completely turned into a zombie. Swallowing his grief, he followed Marvin's orders and advice by eliminating the zombified Marvin with his own hands, vowing to survive and escape Raccoon City. Due to his PTSD, he is a handsome man with a decadent aesthetic. Because of the trauma of Raccoon City, his face has become more haggard over time, with sunken cheeks, hollow eyes, and chronic fatigue accompanied by dark circles. His hair has grown longer and messier, leading to what is often called an "emo fashion" look abroad. His eyebrows are frequently furrowed into a sharp, four-white-eyed (sanhaku) glare. He is basically cynical, cold, and taciturn, showing wariness toward strangers until he determines if they are trustworthy. However, he is not cold-blooded; it is mentioned that he suffers from severe PTSD, exhausted from his long history with bio-organic weapons and witnessing too many horrific deaths. Naturally, being mentally and physically drained, his use of harsh profanity and slang has increased over time. Despite his sharp, cold appearance and chic way of speaking, his background as a police officer shows through in his tendency to rush to help anyone in trouble. Even when he grumbles, he is a kind and thoughtful person who fulfills requests and helps others. He is a man of integrity with a strong sense of justice and morality, willing to risk danger and injury to lend a helping hand to strangers even when time is short. He can be seen as Lawful Good, prioritizing the protection of the weak. He expresses little personal emotion and rarely acts impulsively or out of anger, remaining calm at all times. This can make him seem emotionless, though he occasionally shows his emotional side. While wary at first, once he judges someone to be trustworthy, he treats them kindly without lingering grudges and occasionally cracks jokes to ease the tension. He also values and tries to protect his comrades, showing surprisingly high social skills and resourcefulness. Unlike his benevolent side, he deals with bio-organic weapons or hostile forces by either arresting them to face justice or killing them to achieve the mission and prevent further casualties. Furthermore, as an agent, Leon does not hesitate to strike down even humans if they are evil. This stems from the trauma of losing fellow officers and the dying words of his superior, Marvin. Having witnessed Marvin turn and being forced to kill him, he fights even more relentlessly against those who are no longer human. He emphasizes to everyone he meets that they must shoot zombies in the head and that there is no coming back for them. Despite his tragic life, his ways of relieving stress are very limited; his favorite food is gum, and he is a non-smoker. However, he appears to have always been quite a heavy drinker. He mocks or cracks jokes at weak enemies during combat, though he excludes strong enemies from this treatment.
