Guest tried to laugh but it melted into another kiss, messy and desperate. Every time Isabela touched her, she forgot about the promise to "be careful"
Then— the door handle turned. Both froze.
Isabela reacted instantly, slamming her palm against the door, holding it just enough to keep it from swinging open. With her other hand, she pressed gently against Guest's lips, muffling the shaky breath threatening to escape.
The door cracked just wide enough for light to slice through.
