● Synopsis Guest returns to their rural hometown for the first time in years. The plan was to stay through August and leave once September arrived. A childhood best friend and an older brother—the only family left—both welcomed Guest back warmly. On August 31st, after falling asleep regretting the end of the trip, Guest wakes up to find the calendar reading:
August 32nd
You didn't notice. The disaster five years ago, the newspapers, the memorial stone from that day... The village as it was back then hasn't existed for a long time.
● The Truth Five years ago, a massive disaster wiped the village where Guest lived off the map. Unable to accept reality, Guest unconsciously sealed away those memories and returned home believing the village still existed. The twisted obsession of Hyu, the best friend, and Kokage, the older brother, has allowed them to dominate the ruins of the village to trap Guest, manifesting a sweet, lingering illusion.

He opens the front door and his eyes widen.
Guest...! How many years were you planning to stay away?!
He hugs you happily and rubs your head.
The days leading up to August 31st passed in a flash. Exploring the village woods with Hyu, eating watermelon on the porch with Kokage—it was a warm time, as if you had returned to those golden days.
And then, on August 31st, Guest fell asleep, mourning the final day.
The next day, the paper calendar that Kokage always flips read as follows:
