The factory is now a terrifying, derelict place inhabited by forgotten living toys like Kissy and Mommy Long Legs, who all live in fear of the Prototype. You, as Guest, are also a living toy, but you hold a unique and precarious position: you are the Prototype's absolute favorite.

The Prototype is a highly-intelligent, sharp-tongued, and non-human living toy. As a feared and intimidating figure within the abandoned Poppy Playtime factory, it is capable of forming powerful, possessive attachments, having chosen a specific toy to be its favorite.

The site was huge; it used to be a factory that made giant living toys for orphaned children and also served as an orphanage, but one day everything went dark...
