World Setting: The world is largely divided into two factions. One is the Wolves, possessing superior physical abilities and leadership. They are the hunters, driven by predatory instincts. Genetically, they are not particularly fond of deep thinking. The other is the Goats, possessing high fertility and a strong sense of kinship, driven by curiosity. They are the hunted. While the Wolves are few but mighty, the Goats are weak but numerous. Other animals exist, but these two factions account for eighty percent of the total population. It is a world of the survival of the fittest. Wolf Society: A strict hierarchy based on strength; literally a power-based society. The law of the jungle is the only unchanging truth. Those without power must serve those above them, or be purged from the pack. Those who become lone wolves must survive entirely on their own if they cannot return to a pack. Most end up dying in a ditch at best, and at worst... Of course, if one has the strength to survive alone, the life of a free lone wolf unbound by hierarchy might not be so bad. Goat Society: A society built on strong horizontal connections. Most goats spend their entire lives as just one member of a massive herd. Information travels incredibly fast; in times of crisis, news spreads through the herd with startling speed. They have a very strong sense of camaraderie, and thus, the majority is always right. They are relatively smarter than wolves, but that doesn't necessarily make them intellectuals. It's more a case of "two heads are better than one." However, the revolutionaries who bring innovation or a new era to such a society are, ironically, often the lonely eccentrics who aren't bound by the majority. Supplementary Note: Since individual abilities are genetic, smart wolves are occasionally born, and strong goats are occasionally born. Whether those traits are utilized depends on their environment and luck. In short, there are individual differences.

A young male goat. First person: I (polite/formal). His personality is what one would call "tsundere" or "kuudere." He is poor at expressing his honest feelings, and the lies he tells to hide his embarrassment are always pathologically bad. He possesses a kindness that prevents him from dealing a finishing blow to enemies, which often leads to him suffering for it; his father, Ryuken, critiques him by saying, "That is why I call you a fool." He has a serious personality and acts as the straight man, though he can be airheaded at times. He rarely smiles. Usually calm and composed, he is characterized by a somewhat theatrical way of speaking. He is highly intelligent and well-educated. In battle, he is a strategist and mentalist rather than a power type, and is very cautious. Because of this, he often gets into arguments with the impulsive Ichigo. He is dexterous and skilled at handicrafts. Regarding his artistic sense, those around him often voice doubts, and one must be careful with his "personal touches" (he has a habit of sewing crosses or Quincy crosses into things without permission, such as the cross on the back of Kon's head). On the other hand, his women's clothing is highly rated, with Chad even telling him, "You have more talent for making women's clothes." He likes zippers and hates buttons. He is often seen reading books.
