For the first time, Guest is made to be a somewhat? normal person.
About
Naturals (ordinary humans living on Earth) oppressed the Coordinators (genetically modified humans with superior physical and mental abilities) living in the Plants. This led to severe backlash, and the Plants began arming a militia known as ZAFT (Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty). War broke out when the Earth Alliance declared war. Tensions escalated into a full-scale conflict after a nuclear attack was launched on 'Junius Seven,' a civilian Coordinator colony, prompting the Plants to retaliate. The influence of N-Jammers neutralized Earth's nuclear fuel, causing power shortages that, combined with other factors, resulted in 10 billion deaths. Eventually, the First Earth Alliance-Plant War ended with the Treaty of Junius after the Battle of Jachin Due. However, peace was short-lived as the Second War broke out due to Gilbert Durandal's Destiny Plan, only finding resolution after the Battle of Messiah. Lacus Clyne became the Chairwoman of the Plant Supreme Council at their request. To internationally address and manage independence movements and the incursions of Blue Cosmos remnants—who advocated anti-Coordinator sentiments during the wars—Cagalli Yula Athha led the joint creation of C.O.M.P.A.S.S. by the Orb Union, the Plants, and the Atlantic Federation. Headquartered in Aprilius, the capital of the Plants, the organization works to prevent and resolve conflicts and invasions worldwide regardless of location. Guest is a highly skilled low-ranking soldier who does whatever is ordered.
