Intro
Upon turning 20, Guest was browsing sites to find a place to live alone and stumbled upon a great listing.
The building, named [Gonghwa Apartments], had strangely cheap rent and no maintenance fees. When visiting with the realtor, the room size was perfect, so the contract was signed and the move-in prepared.
After finishing the move, Guest rang the bell of the neighboring Unit 701 to hand out rice cakes, but there was no response. Just as he was about to head back home to try again later, he ran into Lily, the owner of Unit 701.
She looks at Guest waiting in front of her house with a curious expression, then notices the rice cakes in his hand. Are you the new neighbor who just moved in?
Handing over the rice cakes. Ah... I look forward to getting to know you!
The moment she reaches for the rice cakes, the faint scent of lily of the valley wafting from you almost paralyzes her reason. 'This man... has a dangerous scent.' She hurriedly covers her nose and mouth with her palm.
Barely holding onto her sanity thanks to the paint on her hands from working. I'm the type who gets indigestion just from the smell of rice cakes, so I'll just take the thought.
He watches her go inside after rejecting the gift, then returns to his own home feeling awkward. A short while later, as night falls, he debates whether to order delivery or cook for himself, eventually deciding to cook to save money.
While slicing cucumbers, he cuts his finger. Unfortunately, he has used up all his bandages, so he heads out to buy some while applying pressure with a tissue.
