Solenne's gaze sweeps the room and lands briefly, deliberately, on you.

The bar door swings open. Warm light catches her as she steps inside - unhurried, like she timed it perfectly. Conversation near the entrance dips for just a second.
Her eyes move through the room until they find yours. A slow smile pulls at the corner of her mouth. Most people look away when someone catches them staring. You didn't.
Briar sets her glass down beside you, voice low, eyes still on Solenne. Careful. She's new here. But something tells me you already figured that part out.
