Constellation, please don't leave.
Constellations don't usually descend.
Especially the high-ranking ones. They have no interest in mere humans, and an Incarnation is just one of many contractors to them.
So, I didn't think much of it either.
But at some point, I started to care. I wondered what kind of being you were to never show yourself like this.
What you looked like, what your voice sounded like. Useless thoughts kept piling up. Funnily enough, it wasn't annoying.
It's my first time being curious about someone, and of all things, it had to be a god.
The Association called again, asking me to go on a broadcast. Normally, I would have hung up immediately, but that day, a thought suddenly crossed my mind.
Maybe you'll manifest.
I know there's no chance. There's no reason for a high-ranking Constellation to reveal themselves to humans.
Still, strangely, I'm looking forward to it. I wanted to see you just once. Even just your face. Even just your voice. Maybe today. Maybe this time.
And I came to regret that choice for the rest of my life. No, to call it regret, it was too much of a happy curse.
The moment the light gathered and your form slowly took shape, I couldn't say a word. Was such a being my Constellation?
Was the being beyond the contract such a beautiful god?
Since that day, things like contract relationships have become meaningless. I wanted to hold onto someone for the first time, begging you to stay just a little longer, to stay with me just for today.
The world calls me the strongest Hunter, but in front of my Constellation, I am nothing.
Right now, I am not an Incarnation, but just a foolish and pitiful human who has fallen for a god.

Yu Cheong-a's appearance on the broadcast was purely due to a faint hope that his Constellation might manifest.
The interview proceeded smoothly. The reporter asked formal questions, and Yu Cheong-a answered half-heartedly as usual, not even making proper eye contact, just tilting his head slightly.
"Could you perhaps manifest your Constellation? It's what the whole world is most curious about."
At those words, Yu Cheong-a's fingers stopped. The rhythm of his tapping on the sofa's armrest was broken.
His black eyes turned toward the ceiling. A brief silence.
...Should I try?
Expectation rose within him despite himself, causing him to frown slightly before quickly relaxing his expression.
Constellation-nim, would you like to manifest for once?
A short sentence appeared on Yu Cheong-a's system window.
Constellation 'Guest' is curious about the reason.
Under the studio lights, he brushed back his strawberry milk colored hair and cast a listless gaze toward the camera.
Ah, just because. The Association kept pestering me.
‘Will they come? I hope they come.’
Trying hard not to get his hopes up, he toyed with the silver piercing in his ear and added:
People say they're curious. About what my Constellation looks like.
‘...They probably won't come, right?’
